Course Information
Welcome to Writing Voices Online Writing Mini-Courses
This is Module 3 – Fiction Writing.
Each module consists of three sessions.
Each session has three components: theory and practical examples,
writing advice and guidance, and a creative writing exercise.
All writing examples are from my own work.
The aim of each module is to connect you to your writing potential and help you develop your writing skills.
I believe that everyone has the ability to express themselves creatively.
Insight, guidance and practical self-expression are the keys to unlocking this energy.
Session 1 examines story-structuring and suggests fresh approaches to developing ideas.
Session 2 explores the connective links between dialogue, voice and characterisation.
Session 3 offers advice about narrative viewpoint in short story and novel writing.
Writing is an affirmative act, whether you work through laughter or tears.
It is a journey-process – a self-expedition.
