MY MUSIC

I am a self-taught musician who has been playing guitar for many years. My interests are universal, but I have a love of jazz, rock, blues, ambient and folk. I record under the name of Harmony Shift. You can listen to some of my music through the links on this page.

I am available to teach individuals and small groups about my approach to music and language. It is not conventional music or writing tuition; it is an experiential process designed to explore pathways of visualisation through sound and word. It is about using music and language as developmental tools to expand imaginative potential.

MUSIC NEWS

I will be uploading tracks soon from Harmony Shift's second album 24th Century Cyborg Girl. It is inspired by the idea of using the past to read the future and the future to read the past. You can hear and buy tracks from the first album at Harmony Shift's Bandcamp page.

THE SPIRITUAL RECLUSE
AND THE BEBOP PRISM PROJECT

The Spiritual Recluse and the Bebop Prism Project was a poetry booklet and music CD publication funded by an Arts Grant from Fife Council. You can find out more about the project by following the links below.

Harmony Shift is my new group and the project's music has been digitally reissued under this name at Harmony Shift's Bandcamp page. Tracks are available as downloads, with two free. The album costs £4.
